Lesson 5 - Objectives 5-6 (Wednesday)

B05-05 Skill: Warping images with perspective warp, puppet warp, and liquify

Objectives:
  • Learn how to use perspective warp, puppet warp, and liquify in Photoshop
Learn and Apply:
Photoshop has many ways you can transform your images besides the free transform command. In this tutorial, I want to introduce you to three of them - perspective warp, puppet warp, and liquify. There are four videos to watch that demonstrate the tools. I've also linked to free images you can download and try these tools out for yourself.

I think you'll be amazed at the powerful transformation tools Photoshop provides you!

No exercise file required for this objective. However, please practice using these tools yourself.

B05-06 Skill: Use the content-aware tools in Photoshop

Objectives:
  • Learn how to use the spot healing brush, healing brush, patch tool, and content-aware fill in Photoshop.
Learn:
Photoshop's content aware technology is absolutely amazing! You can remove objects from images, and Photoshop will realistically fill in the area (see how I removed the llama's nose?). Go through this tutorial to learn about using Photoshop's content aware tools!
